 Karen and her Youngest Son 20102 Sons aged 10yrs and 20yrs, 2 neices age 12yrs & 5yrs, 3 nephews aged 13yrs, 9yrs and 7yrs. One God Daughter aged 12yrs and one god son aged 3yrs.
Do you have any siblings I am the eldest of 4 and have 3 brothers ages from 22-35yrs
When did you join company & what is your position I founded the company in 1999 with my husband. I am the managing Director and Franchisor. I am responsible for training new employees and franchisees, coming up with new party ideas and concepts alongside my entertainers and franchisees. I currently work in the office full time and try to do a couple of parties a month to keep me up to date with how parties are running.
What is your favourite part of your job ? Karen Running a Home Disco partyI love most parts of my job, from training new employees, talking to customers on the phone and passing on my knowledge and experience to make thier party as stress free as possible. I enjoy entertaining when i can. There are not many parts of my job that i find a chore, i supose the boring stuff like book keeping would be my bug bear and often having to take my work home with me and the long hours.
What previous experience do you have Karen and Tor BBTSA National Championships 1989I have always enjoyed dance and throughout my child and teenage years i did jazz, ballet & tap. My childhood passion was baton twirling, i started twirling at the age of 6, I competed at national level with the BBTSA ( Britsh Baton Twirling Sports Association) and was ranked in the top 7 in the UK when i gave up competing at 16yrs of age. I started my own Baton Twirling troupe in 2003 and trained and choreographed routines for 50 girls in the troupe which included, twirling, marching, dancing and pom poms / cheerleading.  I have worked for holiday clubs ,nursery schools and primary schools.
What relevant qualifications do you have  GCSE'S. O Level Dance,  NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy,
What other certificates Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Enhanced Customer Services.
Do you have any hobbies or what are your interests Emporium Staff out for a Hen night, and who was the last one standing, Yes the old one AGAIN!I dont have much time for hobbies, i do enjoy salsa class once a wk, i enjoy holidays abroad, watching Eastenders, X Factor and Big Brother when they are on. The highlight of my day is lounging the in the bath reading a chapter of my book in peace and quiet. I also enjoy showing my younger employees how to party when we go out socialising twice a year. Us oldies are always the last ones standing!
What is your Favourite Party ? Karen in the days when she could be CinderellaI like many parties but since getting to old to dress up i prefer Makeover and Beauty parties and Disco / Mamma Mia parties. I'm to old to be a princess :-(
